Itinerary

Arrival at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station and get greeted by the tour representative and transfer to Cochin.(Airport – Cochin 35 Kms/1.30 hrs drive)

On arrival check in at hotel and after fresh up proceed to sightseeing at Fort Cochin – visit Jewish Synagogue (Built in 1568 AD. Closed on Saturdays & Jewish Holidays). Dutch Palace (Built in 1557 AD Closed on Friday & National Holidays). ST. Francis Church (Built by Portuguese in 1503 AD) Santa Cruz Cathedral, Maritime Museum- INS DRONACHARYA FORT KOCHI (Monday Holiday), Chinese Fishing Nets (The Chinese Fishing Nets that, line the sea-front and exhibit a method of catching fish, introduced by Chinese traders) etc.

At evening enjoy the (Optional Activity) Kalari Payattu (A traditional martial Art of Kerala), Kathakali Show (A traditional performance-Art of Kerala).Over Night stay at Cochin

Later we take local sightseeing, Laze in our infinity pool Fishing in the river, Visit the tribal village or Trek to the base of the waterfall. Overnight stay at hotel

Athirappalli (78 kms from Kochi) the beautiful and popular waterfall on the border of the Sholayar forest ranges are just 5 km apart. The Athirappalli Falls joins the Chalakkudy river after falling down a drop of 80 feet. Vazhachal is part of the Chalakkudy river. Both the waterfalls, their cool, misty water cascade down in the backdrop of thick green forest and rocky land, are a dazzling experience to visitors.The beauty of the place makes the place an excellent noneymoon spot therefore making Athirappalli honeymoon tour very popular. After breakfast drive to Munnar - a pleasing 04:00 hrs journey riding through the picturesque hills jacketed in greenish tea and spice plantations. The cab will stop in many of the places on the way to enjoy the beautiful nature, waterfalls and sceneries.

MUNNAR is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1600 mts above sea level, the hill station was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Sprawling tea plantations, pristine valleys, mountains and aroma of spice scented cool air make Munnar is a resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji, this flower blooms once in every twelve years.

Day 4 :
MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed to sightseeing at Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park at Rajamala (Here you can see the Nilgiri Thar), Echo Point, Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Tea Plantations and TATA Tea processing Factory, Kundale Lake, Anayirankal Dam, Gap Point etc..Over Night stay at Munnar

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. A scenic 03:00 hrs drive from Munnar. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spices scented plantations. In the Periyar Forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wild life reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.

On arrival check in at Hotel and after fresh up visit spice market and spice plantations. Here you can see the Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices are grown.

After early breakfast proceeding to ALLEPPEY: (The Venice of the East) is a district of immense natural beauty, caressed by the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing the backwater county.

On arrival check-in at Houseboat cruise Alleppey round (a luxury boat made in ethnic Kerala style having well appointed sitting room, bedrooms, toilet and kitchen) enjoy the tranquil beauty of the inland waters and the countryside for one day.

Houseboat Cruise at ALLEPPEY through narrow canals ~ Pathiramanal Island ~ Virgin village ~ paddy fields ~ historical places ~ Temples ~ Churches ~ Snake boat ~ Coconut beer shop (Toddy shop) ~ Kuttanad Village etc. Enjoy spectacular lush green paddy fields, where you may enjoy an unique nature, life style of village people and their activities like Coir roping, Toddy tapping etc.

Meals served will be of typical Kerala cuisine. Welcome Drink: Tender Coconut, Lunch: Boiled/Basmati Rice, vegetables, fish fry/curry, salads, Pappad. Evening: Tea / coffee with snacks & Banana Fry. Candle Light Dinner: Rice/Chapathy, Dal Curry, Vegetable Curries and Chicken Curry. Breakfast: Bread with butter, jam & eggs or Kerala style Breakfast (Iddly/Dosa). All meals will be provided in the House Boat. Any changes required will have to be intimated in advance. Pure Vegetarian dishes, Dishes with Less Spicy for European Guest, North Indian Recipes etc. are also known to our Chef.

Guest can also buy fresh Prawn, Crab or any fresh fish during their cruise from fishermen (fresh catch) and our Chef will prepare if for the guest according to there taste without any additional charge.Overnight stay at Houseboat

After breakfast from Houseboat, proceeding to KOVALAM, Kovalam: this internationally renowned beach has been favorite haunt of tourists since 1930's. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost, known as the -Light House beach- is the most popular.

Day 8 :
KOVALAM

After early breakfast, stroll on the beach and enjoying the bay of calm water ideal for sea bathing. Proceed to Trivandrum city sightseeing. Visit PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE: This temple is located inside the East Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple. (Dress Code: DHOTHY for men and SAREE for women). Kuthiramalika (Putenmalika) Palace Museum (open 08.30 to 13.00 hrs, 15.00 to 17.30 hrs closed on Monday) the Place was built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma – the King of Travancore. The Palace museum displays paintings and various priceless collections of the royal family. The Zoological Park: (10.00am to 6.15 pm- Closed on Mondays). One of the first Zoo in India. It is located in a well planed Botanical Garden, with huge trees, sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lakes which feel like a small jungle in the heart of the City. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in this premise. Science and Technology Museum Complex: The exhibits here are related to Science, Technology and Electronics.(10.00 AM to 05.00 PM -Closed on Mondays)
Priyadarshiny Planetarium: (Daily shows from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM) Napier Museum & Sree Chitra Art Gallery: (10.00 AM to 04.45 PM- Closed on Mondays and Wednesday forenoons) Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays select paintings of RAJA RAVI VARMA, Svetlana and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali.

At evening enjoy the beach and watch sunset.

Day 9 :
Kovalam

After early breakfast, proceeding for DAY VISIT TO VARKALA & POOVAR ANY OF THE CONVENIENT DAY WHILE YOU ARE STAYING IN KOVALAM , as per your choice will take any of this place near to 40-60 kms one way .Over night stay at Kovalam

After breakfast, departure with lot of memories and thousands of photographs. The cab will drop you at TRIVANDRUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/RAILWAY STATION.
